Good food! Some dishes were very good but some mediocre. The salmon on the fish dish ordered had bones in it and we discussed that with the restaurant manager and he sorted that issue out so customer service was pretty good. Had a good range of cocktails and overall a nice time.
For a chain, it delivers. Probably some of the best steak in and around BSE. Excellent service. However, everything is on the expensive side. £9 wines and £4.95 for a 270ml of Kronenbourg.Food: 5/5

The staff were very efficient but somewhat lacking in warmth and friendliness. It's always nice if someone notices when you get up to leave the restaurant and says goodbye, enjoy the rest of your day etc , but we felt a little ignored once we had paid the bill. Really enjoyed the food excellent wine and the restaurant is an attractive space, clean and spacious.
This was brilliant! If you want good portions of well cooked and tasty food this is the place to come. You can get a la carte or opt for the 3 course deal which we had. Just brilliant. Really friendly staff who accommodated our Christmas meal we only just got round to doing in March with crackers sprinkles of glitter and a smile. Warmly recommend.
One of our party has a dairy intolerance. I had noted this on the booking. After we had sat down the greeter came over with an iPad with product details of all menu options. When taking the order the waitress was also aware and careful with the order, going to check something in the kitchen. My friend was so impressed with the care given and the choice of items. It’s not something she encounters often. The meal came out with flags to denote it’s difference….again giving further confidence to my friend. It made the meal a delightful experience. By the way we all enjoyed our food. Lovely evening. Thank you Dietary restrictions: Dairy intolerance catered for excellently
Nice meal had with a decent wine choice to be enjoyed. Nicely done brasserie style. I know it's a chain but it's not too obvious. I really enjoyed the fish stew. The lack of music playing in the background however made it feel hollow. There was a point when it was just my friend and I sitting there and felt we had to whisper and normally we are never quiet. It felt weird. I figured out the PA system was broken. But at the same time, life could be a whole lot worse! I would go back quite happily.
We were early for lunch but they gave us both menus. One of our party had a full cooked breakfast. They took our order just before 12pm wasn't long before we got our food. We had French Onion Soup very nice and hot, Crock massure sandwich and minute steak. I sent my chips back as they were cold. Staff friendly and helpful
Really like it here, very good service good food and drinks. Lovely atmosphere. Worth visiting, I know we'll be returning.... regularly.Food: 4/5
We thought we’d stop off in Bury on the way home ,late on Sunday afternoon to have some dinner.We tried Cote for the first time and we are so pleased we did .The unique and lovely flavours of the sharing starter was amazing. A beef cheek and pork belly main dishes were lovely and very rich. A really good Sauvignon and a very different cider went down very well with the meal. Five stars and a very reasonably priced dinner . We will be back.
