Fantastic night, warm welcome from the manager (I checked in late having arrived from a wedding which they were happy to accommodate), room was spotless, clean towels, quiet, all you could need, perfectly fine shower room, TV with all channels, quiet night sleep, plenty of parking. The other reviews for this hotel seem unfair given the price (this is clearly not a luxury operation!) The value is exceptional and I'll certainly be returning. It's definitely worth booking directly with the hotel else Booking dot com charge a premium and don't offer decent check in / out times.

Does what is says on the tin. You want a hypnos bed or top end service then go else where and pay twice what you do here. Clean beds, adequate showers 200 yards from a train station. Don't bring your wife here, maybe the mother-inlaw .

It's cheap and basic but has a car park and is a very short walk from the railway station. Use it before you lose it. I don't think it will be open much longer.

DO NOT STAY HERE. I have only given it one star because I had too..... I wouldn't give them any if I could. The only good thing about this place was the exit. The place is filthy, the owner is rude and abusive. The breakfast was terrible. Everything was an extra, parking, breakfast, internet. I urge everyone to read reviews about this place before booking......

no words i have can describe how bad this place is .stopped in shalley room "more like a dog kennel" the lack of water pressure and the fact that hot water ran for about 60 seconds made it impossible to shower /bath or even shave. room was grotty .bathroom was worse .beds were uncomfortable and mattress was disgusting and filthy, covered in stains take a look at pics for more of an idea.did post pics of the filthy beds but they have not come up .for god sake if you dont want to be shocked dont lift the matress up !!!!
