If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. Just like Jody below, I unfortunately stayed here for a wedding. The hotel gave our room key to another couple, who we then walked in on at 2am. Our car keys were in the room the entire time. Given another room which stank of smoke and had used floss in the shower. All round dirty and not of a good standard. Awful breakfast service, took almost 70 minutes to get a horrible cooked breakfast. On check out we were told 'we cannot provide good service when the hotel is full'. After several phone calls and an angry tripadvisor review written by us, we were promised a refund but asked to take the review down! The promised refund has yet to appear 9 days later and the manager is refusing to call us back, he is always 'in a meeting'. An absolute shambles of a hotel.

Lovely place to stay. Stayed here for my birthday. Staff were lovely. Restaurant is amazing, and rooms are so comfy. Will definitely be coming back

0 stars! Appalling staff and food. Whole wedding stayed here for my sisters wedding. Nothing but mistakes! Double booked the mother of the brides room. Even gave out keys to one room for 2 different guests. The poor guests were rather shocked when someone walked into their room as they slept at 2 in the morning. Waited an hourfor a cold breakfast and had to ask for everything - every spoon and cup. Food was cold and the toast was still frozen. I have seen bigger children’s breakfasts. No hasbrowns and no apology. £13.50 for breakfast. Bad experience for the whole wedding. I have stayed in better holiday inns. DO NOT STAY HERE

We have just had the VERY BEST main course we have ever had anywhere at Donnington Manor Sevenoaks. Monk Fish with Palma Ham “It really was amazing “ Please put this on your menu and book me a table as soon as you have. Your Chef is a credit to you and himself Cheers Barry & Carol

Pros: Huge room, nicely-furnished and well equipped with plenty of sockets, iron, safe etc. Nice big wardrobe with lighting, bathrobes, slippers. Complimentary toiletries also better than most. Good-sized car park. Cons: Air-conditioning system had a life of its own. Lots of very loud clunking in the middle of the night even when switched off! I eventually found and used the circuit breaker box to silence it (in the wardrobe behind the ice bucket). The system never gave out warm air, even when on maximum heat setting. The room was cold & the supplied portable electric radiator was essential. Despite the vast room size overall, the bathroom was quite small, with no bath - just a large shower. Large flat panel TV on the wall had the picture quality of a 1980s Amstrad computer. Breakfast was nothing very special and, to keep you on your toes, some days they did a table service with a menu but at other times it was 100% buffet. Tea and coffee was provided by the cup (not pots other that on the first morning, bizarrely) and no one offered refills.
