The Grasshopper Inn is a privately owned, recently restored, beautiful Tudor building set in the idyllic kent countryside, close to all major routes and only 40 minutes from london. The Grasshopper Inn is an individually designed Hotel perfect as a wedding, corporate or private function venue. We offer an exclusive dining experience, whether it be in one of our restaurants, private dining, breakfast, lunch, carvery or afternoon tea...you will be spoilt for choice! "A step back in time, yet with modern luxuries".

With four stunning rooms available for exclusive hire, two including their own private bar, we can cater for 20 to 500 guests. Don't forget our rear terrace garden which is also available for private hire. Equipped with BBQ and bar, it is perfect for a lazy afternoon or a gorgeous backdrop for photos on your special day.

Just popped in for a drink but there was some confusion about when alcohol could be served. One staff member was happy to serve whilst another said that alcohol can only be served after 12pm. Ordered non-alcoholic drinks which were very nice and a decent price.

Really nice clean pub, no carvery but we dis go late so this was expected. Really good food and friendly staff

Very good buffet style Sunday lunch. You often have to book as it gets very busy.

This was a great disappointment. Although we had pre-booked the table, greeting staff left us waiting as they made a show of looking for the booking. We were given no time to look at the menu before the serving staff started pushing us for a selection, it was only after we made our decision that we were told of the meals that were no longer available. We asked for water for the table, which only came when the meal was almost over and we reminded them. The food was overly dry and unappetising. This is supposed to be one of the better establishments in the area but it was very disappointing.

Beautifully building but terrible service. We were seated in the restaurant (only 4 tables had people seated) and never saw the waitress again. Spent 30 minutes waiting and gave up and left. Very disappointed!
