Had a late lunch @merryhillbarandgrill. A great pub to visit Enjoy drink and food the staff are always friendly and polite have a good time here xx Here what’s we ordered Big Fish N chips side with Mac N cheese Chilli Con Carne Sirloin steak
Had several meals here now. Never been disappointed. Good pub food. Always well presented. And service is also good. For a pub meal, worth the five stars.
The service was good, the food however was a bit if a disappointment. The food was displayed nothing like the menu pictures. Was not cooked properly. I asked for medium rare and got rare, partner asked for well done and he got medium to well done. The only part that was nice, in my opinion, was the scampi.
It isnt very often i review places this low. I havent felt so unsafe eating food in my life!! We sat down in the main restaurant area and every time someone walked around us we were literally bouncing up and down the floor was obviously unsafe and should not be used for patrons to eat on. Another horrible aspect of this restaurant is the staff and customer service. With a few exceptions the staff here are awful, with staff actively avoiding serving you and never checking up on your meal, unless you're a regular, you can forget good customer service. I need to specifically mention who i assume to be the manager, his attitude and behaviour was genuinely abhorrent, leaving the one other staff member to basically serve the entire restaurant himself, while he walked back and forth cleaning the same table for almost 40 minutes. He actively avoided serving a member of our party, and stomped everytime he walked behind us while obviously knowing the condition of the floors. Overall i would never want to eat there again, with a mixture of all the issues we had it was a genuinely awful experience. would give 0/5 if i could.
Fantastic service and food experience! Breakfast was extremely delicious and the service from start to finish was excellent. The young lady Sofia was extremely helpful.
Absolutely amazing food service very friendly staff the only reason I gave it 4 stars is because there was no dartboard but that's just my opinion.....tbf it is a 5 star place thats welcoming ...I've added a photo too ...its called spot the dog

We held one of our Grandsons 21st Birthday celebrations here on Saturday lunch. Couldn't fault our experience in any way from start to finish. Pre ordered our food cos there was 14 adults and 2 children highly recommend The food was outstanding and the service faultless, nothing was too much trouble. WILL most definitely be returning Thank you all very much
Visited the merry hill, great atmosphere, staff very friendly and helpful! Food amazing. Could not fault it anything at all!
Great local pub with good selection of drinks and good food at reasonable prices. Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff.
