The chips seemed like they were either cooked in too much oil or were left over from an old batch. The manager seemed very cold when I asked how business was she tried to be condescending. I pointed out having worked in the food & beverages industry I knew how demanding & abrupt customers could be and I was just being polite. My thoughts: For me customer services are so important and businesses being welcoming to clients especially in view of covid & how they suffered should be welcoming. So, if a customer is willing to A Spend money in your establishment and B Ask how it is doing, do not be rude. Would I go there again? Lets put it this way. There are many eateries out there. Lesson learnt. Next time I face this I'll simply take my money/business elsewhere. I visited the pub on Sunday 2nd April 2023 at approx 17.40. Training or retraining in customer services might need to be reconsidered for this person. Think someone said they were the manager. The rest of staff were very helpful. She did help me with the food app for the eatery but 1st impressions count leaving me wary.
Popped in today cause me and my sister were starving! We both had the chicken new yorker on the 2 for £11 and the 4 year old had a plate of chips. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be coming back.
Huge sharing starter and a horseshoe of great onion rings, ones that are actually cooked not zapped. Meals were spot on. Excellent late lunch.
A pub with real potential. The bar staff are friendly and sociable. The food is a of a reasonable standard for the price charged. There is a wide selection of beer, cider, lager, wine and spirits available. The food serving staff need to be a little more considerate. Asking if the meal is acceptable prior to the meal being started is rather silly as is asking to clear the plates when meals are still being eaten. The outside area is well maintained and has plenty of tables and chairs. The pub area is clean and tidy. There is a large car park. The pub could do with a refit. The toilets in particular need some urgent attention.
Great service from Kay & Maggs,both polite & friendly. we enjoyed our burgers . It was BOGOF deal today on burgers , also a thanks to the chef Ant, who cooked our food, it was most enjoyable , will be returning very well
Returned to pub based on previous good experience but left very disappointed. Food quality had dropped massively since last visit. Bland inedible veggie burger, terrible fries/chips, everything seemed cooked in rush despite next to no customers. Desserts were best part of meal but even they were of a lesser quality than previous vists. All 5 of party left considerable portions of their meals, I understand that to keep prices down, quality of ingredients and prep methods may change but will not be visiting pub again...which is a real shame as staff are very attentive.
Clean pub, friendly staff, we wanted a meal combination not on the menu, they cooked it quickly and so tasty, brilliant
I have been many times with family and I have always had a good experience. The food is fantastic and the staff are always polite and helpful.
Popped into the Bradmore Arms for lunch... on Sun 2nd April after visiting Bantock House... we were served at gge table by Ian a very polite & pleasant young man who made us feel welcome & the Wrap & Sandwich were excellent value.. just what we needed...
Really enjoyed our vist today ,Aidan looked after us very well, wide choice of meals which arrive promptly, presented,cooked wellall at a very good price . ,
