Absolutely love it here. The food is gorgeous. We had nachos to share to start, main was chicken tacos, philly cheese steak sandwich with some hot n spicy dusted fries they really are hot n spicy and to top it all off we had churros and a peanut butter bake with ice cream. Everything was cooked to perfection and came out quickly and piping hot. Along with all of the yummy food, the staff are sooo friendly! They always greet you with a smile and they really can't do enough for you. If you are someone like me who literally never knows what I want to drink, they will ask you what kind of thing you like and suggest new things to try - which always turns out to be amazing! Weekends are a scream and they always have fab entertainment. Pleased to call it our local and can't wait to come back for one of the best Sunday roasts I've ever had Thanks to everyone at the Mount for making our experiences so memorable!
The bao buns are incredible, and the seafood platter was also banging, would deffo come back

On many occasions I have booked a booth at the mount, as I’ve arrived I’ve been told that we’ve been seated else where. Poor management at the mount tavern. Do better!!! We had evidence to say our seating had been confirmed and booked Now sat in the function room and the lighting has gone off, it’s been off for approximately 20 minutes.

I used to like this place, but the service has gone downhill. When certain bookings were made and confirmed by management and then when we arrived, we were told they had double booked. Nice pub, very friendly, expensive on drinks, good atmosphere food is also available.
Absolute terrible service again. We booked a booth a month in advance which was confirmed, when we got there we were told we had to sit in the function room, once we sat there the lights were out for approx 15-20 minutes so we sat in the dark. Certain dishes ordered were not edible. This is the 3rd time we have has an issue with booking a table and have been moved else where even after getting confirmation it was all booked.
Excellent! We visited this venue on the 16th August 2022 for my birthday lunch and was very impressed. Venue; The Mount Tavern has recently undergone refurbishment the result of which is a beautiful and tastefully decorated interior. Staff: Each member of staff were very welcoming, very accomodating and were so lovely. Service: The service was excellent! Once ordered, our food was served in a timely manner with a smile and pleasant conversation. Food : Beautifully presented food which was delicious plentiful and excellent value for money. Overall I had a lovely birthday treat and would definitely return. Thanks to Russell, Rueben, Ray and lady whose smile I keep commenting on:-
