Popped in today at lunch. Steady and nice atmosphere. No Ham left but lads were so helpful it didn't matter. Kids loved their main meals. Nice pint of Carling
Went to the quiz on Thursday had some food before it 1 kilo of chicken wings in bbq sauce gotta say they were lovely. The staff are really friendly and helpful and of course it’s always a good pint. And now they are having some live music entertainment too. Special mention to the quiz master CLIVE he makes it worthwhile
Popped in without realising they offered a two and three course special. Opted for the three course after looking at the options. Think it was around the £10.50 mark. Nice meal at that price we would. Go again. Very quiet.
Love it in here, great staff - front and back of house, food is great, service is quick and always professional! Staff always make you feel welcome thanks guys and see you soon!
Nice and calming place, took the dog out for a long walk and popped in for a bite to eat in the dog friendly area. All the staff were so lovely and attentive. Will definitely be doing that more regularly x
Went in today for the first time as we live round the corner kept saying we should pop in as it looks nice from the outside. I orderd a steak sandwich should have know what I was in for when I wasn’t asked how I like steak to be done and my partner ordered the bacon mushroom carbonara and a side of cheesy garlic bread meals came out we wernt expecting much as it was lunch menu but sandwich was the same size as a 40p deli roll from Tesco no seasoning, with obviously frozen chewey steak 5 or 6 Wetherspoons chips thrown on the side and a plate full of salad. The carbonara was just bland no seasoning or taste to it and the garlic bread that was supposed to be side ended up being desert after coming out 15 minutes after we finished with so many pubs in such a close proximity all serving food I was expecting something to stand out but unfortunately not.
It was a lovely atmosphere and the staff made us feel very welcome. The food portions were generous and very good value for money.
Enjoyed the atmosphere. Was disappointed that there was only one Ale / IPA available at the time of the visit. Other pumps indicated ales I would have liked to drink but they had signs on saying 'coming soon'. If they had been available I would have stayed and drunk more than I did.
I love this place, the food is nice and the service was excellent. It has gone a bit downhill though, since last time I went.
As someone who’s not local to the area, I found the westacres or as I found out the locals call it other ‘westies’ wonderfully welcoming. Going to the Westacres was the first times in a while I’ve really felt connected and at peace in a new location, and I’d really like to thank the team and locals for creating such a warm and happy environment. I will be definitely be back when I’m next passing by.
