I absolutely adore this pub. It’s so warm and cosy and so inviting. It’s a proper pub! You actually feel like the staff genuinely want to know when they ask how you are. The food is always hot and tastes great. We often go in for breakfast and always book for Christmas. The food is reasonably priced so much so, you can afford to eat here often. Whereas some pubs in the area you can only afford on special occasions. On a whole, this pub ticks every box. I love the new extended eating area too. It’s just a fantastic pub, great staff and great food. Well done
This is our local spot, friendly staff, great service good value and love the atmosphere. They provide board games for young children and grabber machines to keep them entertained. Suitable for all ages. Prams and wheelchair accessible. There is a bar section for watching any sport events, also outside area with heaters.
Monday night, place was busyish, food is cheap priced, but quality is still ok, 2 cocktails for 7 is good price, don't expect Gordon ramsay, food was ok. Found a hair in salad, not ok, oh well. Would go again, total meal 40, wat do u want. Good size car park
Sizzler food is pretty much the same where ever you go. Enjoyed my meal Don't like that you don't get a substitute when u remove the evil mushrooms and tomatoes. With that said it's the service and ambience that really count. Service was a little slow but servers polite and accomodating. I say this confused as to why the three tables that came a considerable amount of time after is were served first. I just put it to the back of my mind and remembered at least one saved us 40% on our meal by encouraging us to download the app. Happy days
Really Good value for money breakfast. Coffee not to bad either
Went here with a few friends after work yesterday. It was quite busy in there, but that didn't stop team members from making sure we had our drinks promptly. The only complaint I have is that the dark fruits tasted a little flat. Would definitely recommend
I had came here with my partner with a ever so loving great customer service the guy that brought our food over was a lovely gent and the woman that brought drinks over done a smashing job! Definitely end up eating here again even if your in for one wine and dine thrill of the moment id definitely say bring your loved one here and enjoy your every cherished moment,well done guys you get a 5 star in my book and hopefully see you again soon.
Always have a great meal. Friday was very busy as usual, but had a funeral party in on the day as well. As usual steph, Karen, Claire and lad who work at chestnut did amazing as always
Me and my boyfriend came here on a date the other day. He was jealous of the food that I ordered mixed grill since he just had a pizza which is what he normally has. On top of that I’ve been coming here since I was in Westacres infant school I’m 16 now so basically I grew up and me and family would come here often. Staff are literally our friends. 10/10 love this place.
It's a very busy friendly pub at the heart of the Finchfield community and the food is good value for money. Last night our visit was made better because of the excellent service and attention from our lovely waitress Lucy.
