Suggested by the people we were staying with as a good place to go, with nice views. Slightly misleading as it was a fantastic place to go, with a brilliant view!! The food was good and reasonably priced, the service quick and efficient. Plenty of staff, no long wait at the bar like some places now days. For a first night dinner, top marks!!
We had a stop off here on our way to Norfolk. The car park was full but we used the public car park right next to it. We sat outside by the river with a lovely view of the countryside around us. We shared a salt and pepper squid and had a drink. Everything came quickly and the staff were friendly and attentive. Afterwards we had a walk along the river. We would definitely return but hopefully it will not be a Sunday in the school holidays.
10/10, would definitely recommend, there is a separate car park for customers. Absolutely stunning location and amazing restaurant. Very nice atmosphere and beaming with people outside especially if the weather is nice. couldn't fault the service and the staff. seeing as me and my friend travelled just over an hour to get here we weren't disappointed! Food is delicious and is one of my favourite restaurants i have been to yet. extremely impressed good job guys.
Highly recommended, came here with my wife and 2 children aged 7 and 3 for an Easter holiday family meal out. Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. Dog friendly bar area and a fantastic beer garden overlooking the River didn't use as it was a little nippy. Food was flawless making it worth paying that little extra from your average pub meal. Will be coming back soon. Returned here again!!!! Just as I remembered it, fantastic service, great views and high quality food. Did have a slight issue with desert today but was rectified very quickly with zero fuss. Qudos to the waiting staff.
This place is amazing. The staff are so friendly. And the food is divine. Would definitely recommend. And a lovely view.
Fantastic views of the river and the boats. Friendly staff, and fantastic cheesy chips. Will be a great place to spend the afternoons during the summer. Will be back soon to try more of the menu. Glad its open on Easter sunday.
Great lunch in the March sunshine. Had the cold fish platter, which was excellent. Prosecco in little bottles, nice friendly staff and the best pub view in East Anglia!
Great location, good food and very friendly staff. Would advise booking as it was very busy even at lunchtime. Ample parking too.
Amazing food, very efficient and friendly service. Had wonderful family meal. Highly recommend as setting and menu/ drink choices are brilliant.
The Maybush is one of our favourite breakfast spots when the weather is good. There can’t be many better places in Suffolk for an ‘al fresco Full English’. The pub now offers a larger breakfast for £11.95, which I devoured a couple of Sundays ago. My wife went for the ‘children’s breakfast’, which was more than sufficient for £8.95. The food was delicious and served piping hot, with a perfectly cooked egg. The pub makes a great coffee too.
