We booked Marchmont Arms area by the lower section of the pub for my wife baby shower. Andrea from the beginning was amazing, she was quick to respond prior the event. On the day, she was outstanding. Was always checking in on us and made sure our event was fantastic, definitely someone who goes beyond their means! Chef Christopher dished up delicious meals and even reheated the food a few times. Marchmont is lucky to have Andrea and Chris on their team.
Food was delicious, service was great, stylish place reasonably priced for the quality of food. It is a shame that the wine and dine menu can't accommodate odd numbers but we worked round it.
Incredible service for a group of 14 including 4 kids. This is our local pub and we love coming here in summer and winter. Lovely food and atmosphere. The family from London and friends outside London loved the whole setup of the pub and all the different rooms. Thank you to the kind staff for being so accommodating.
On Thursday, I visited the Marchmont and had the pleasure of being served by Becky. From the moment we walked in, she was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. Her friendly personality brought such a warm and inviting atmosphere to the evening, and she had the perfect balance of professionalism and humor. She was attentive without being overbearing, and her lighthearted jokes had us all laughing throughout the night. It’s clear she truly enjoys what she does, and she really elevated our experience. We’ll definitely be back – thank you, Becky, for a wonderful night!
Fantastic food, great location. We had Sunday lunch here for the first time and ordered the trio of roasts and a kiddie meal. Everything was delicious - especially the crackling! Very crispy and moreish. The kids menu is good - some nice options and good portion sizes. My little one ate almost everything, which is unusual! All in all, a fantastic experience and we will be back.
