Giving 1 star for the service 2 star for the food. They need to review their website. Ordered from here for the 1st time and was really disappointed. The website is confusing, as the pictures, description, and names are all muddled. I ordered what I thought from the picture and description was the £6 curry chicken, which I paid for, but received instead the £2 sweet potato chips. I was not refunded. Unfortunately, the food shown on the website is not a true representation of what you get. For example, some of the dishes shown as being accompanied by coleslaw/salad, which you do not receive. Also, the order was estimated to take 45 minutes but in fact took over 2 hours to be delivered. Overall, food was ok but service needs to be much improved.
Bit of a slow service, food wasnt to expectations as compared to other Caribbean takeaways i've tried in London. But lovely ladies and friendly too. I Was compasated with an extra Dumplin and 2 cans of drink to make up for delayed delivery.
Have used this family run little Caribbean gem several times. Always a warm friendly welcomme with the true local Caribbean flavour... Others are dissapointed that is isnt a 4 or 5 star establishment but if you like somewhere that you do not have to put on airs and graces for and not expecting silver service then I wholeheartedly recommend the daily freshly cooked cuisine and homely atmosphere of this divine family eatery...
We arrived at 1945 on a Saturday night to find: 1. They had run out of curries goat 2. They had run out of the spirit Malibu 3. I had to ask them to provide the side salad and coleslaw which accompanied the main meal as the menu states 4. The Red Strip bottle bottle of beer I was provided was served at room temperature Would not recommend to anyone.
Got a take away from here two weeks ago, the food was authentic and cooked with love. We will definitely be coming back for more!
I love it here!! The food is delicious the staff are brilliant, friendly and welcoming.
Food was good but didn’t have most of what I wanted.
