Are here on a Thursday evening with a group of friends for the banquet deal. Whilst the price of the deal has risen in recent times, it still reflects good value for money. Our table of eight were well served with food and drink. It's a good sign when no one at the table is taking about the service, as it means it's seamless and we could just get on enjoying our catch ups. Everyone's food was well prepared and the order correct. I couldn't fault it and would happily return.
Very friendly service, the staff were very good at recommending dishes. food was cooked very well, the mix between flavour and heat was very well balanced. The restaurant small and could get loud, but we would definitely go there again.
I used to go to the Mogul years ago and went last night on my sisters recommendation. I was please to see their Tuesday deal hasn't changed much since - £12.95 for a starter, main, side, rice or naan and a coffee. It was excellent value and the food was really tasty, full of flavour and served hot - so many restaurants seem to serve food luke-warm. The service was great too and staff were really knowledgeable about what was in each dish. The only downside I always found with this restaurant is that it's quite small - it didn't effect my experience too much except that I got hot quickly, so i'd wear a thinner t-shirt instead of a jumper next time!
Was there a couple of weeks ago. We thought we would give it a try on a Monday eve. V good value and exellent service. The dishes that we had were very nice and plenty of food. Can't wait to go back!
I have to now amend my original review, unfortunately they have succumbed to the rice or naan choice and are still calling it a 5 course banquet by offering coffee which isn’t a course you are not offered anything else if you don’t drink coffee. Food is still good though the portion sizes have shrunk. Felt disappointed on leaving considering how good it used to be.
Wow. Loving this place Attentive staff but most of all the curry was beautiful!! Will definitely be back !
Great food and great service here. Such a wide variety of dishes to choose from with tastes to challenge those who like it spicy and those not so much. And always a reasonable pricing
