"The Manor Farm in Swindon is a typically English country pub housed in a lovingly renovated 17th Century farmhouse. Carefully chosen contemporary décor and classic features like wooden beams compliment each other beautifully. Meet friends for a country walk that ends with a pub lunch in our lovely beer garden. Pop over with the family for a great British Sunday lunch. Come as a couple on spice night. Drop in for a quiet pint when the mood takes you. We are experts at keeping real ales, and have wines produced in locations from Spain to South Africa and beyond.Superior comfort food is our forte. Grills are the stars of the menu, and we do a variety of exciting meat-free dishes as well. Finish the perfect meal with a showstopper dessert."

Had a really nice family Sunday lunch recently. Really nice place to go, food was so good, great service, great value too. Will definitely be back for another Sunday lunch!
Really good food, friendly staff, great prices.
Staff were excellent & the food we had was very good. The atmosphere is very welcoming & we loved the fact that it's a dog friendly pub. My grandson is disabled & uses a wheelchair & access was fantastic! Nice wide door & no steps to worry about. Will definitely come back
I ordered a steak and ale pie which arrived in a reasonable good time. However, I found the pastry was hard and difficult to eat and the meat inside was very dry, I suspect that the pie had been microwaved before serving, also the peas were hardly cooked. All together my visit was not a pleasant experience. The exception was the waitress who served us who was very pleasant and efficient.
Lovely food, and a great choice on the menu. Reasonable prices and prompt courteous service. I went with a couple, their dog and my youngish puppy. Sadly the puppy did not want to behave properly. Quite rightly the manageress pointed out that barking dogs weren't really allowed in the pub. Shortly after that I took the puppy out. No complaints from me and I'm sure I'll return but next time without the dog.
Not bad, but the place has a history of the food being a bit hit and miss. Some of our party ordered baguettes but got toasted bread instead that was a bit hard.. we didn't bother complaining because it was a quick work lunch and still edible, and the waitress was quite scary - a bit like a school dinner lady! The Hunters chicken light lunch was overcooked too, but again edible enough for the time we had.
Im not one to complain, but the chef seriously needs to put a lot more love into the food! I had the mega mixed grill and all the meat was over done it was very chewy. Myself and my daughter asked for a medium steak and got it well done and the fish which my other daughter had was rubbery, overall my experience was very disappointing. Not impressed! However the service was good, which was the only positive.
Food was nice. Service was good and the jam shed mulled wine went down a little too well!
Lovely place for mums with children to go. With 2 toddlers being waited on, meant I didn't need to drag the children to the bar to order. Or juggle drinks back to the table. Lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Will be visiting often in the new year.
Used to be a great place to go, now though the food is mediocre. The curry tastes like a supermarket microwave one and they don't honour the special offers eg on a certain day they advertise you can get branded drinks with a mile for a good price. But only after you've ordered and eaten do they tell you the offer isn't eligible for no good reason! Service is always a bit stretched with very slow serving times.
