Came in to have am early breakfast after waking the dog. Our dog was allowed inside, which was very nice. We had a small breakfast and side order of toast each. I thought it was quite tasty food for the price we paid. There was disabled access, loads of parking, think this place must get very busy at peak times
Ask for mains to be brought out with starters. This didn't happen. Waited 20 minutes for mains. Ordered a cappuccino with no chocolate on top. When arrived you could see they had added chocolate then tried to take it off. Leaving the cup in a mess and me not being able to drink it. No body asked if our food was ok
Booked a table for 9 on a Sunday evening. The table was reserved for us in a perfect position. Whilst we ordered drinks at the bar at which the service was quick and friendly, we used the app to order from our table. All the adult starters, along with the children's meals, arrived promptly, followed by the adult mains within a few minutes of the starters being finished. Tables were cleared efficiently by friendly staff with extra drinks brought to the table within minutes of asking. All food was piping hot, thoroughly cooked, well presented with no complaints. Nice atmosphere, good surroundings with good outside areas for the better weather. Superb value for money, a really pleasant experience again.
It does what it says on the tin! Team were great, efficient, polite and quick service. Food was good value, plentiful and arrived in good time. All fairly priced, both food and drink. Would advise booking in advance as can get busy. We ate on a Friday at 630pm and it was fine.
I have eaten here for a long time. Was 1 of the best restaurants in Swindon. But really gone down hill, couldn’t get my food right, half a glass of Coke Zero, puddings came out cold. Normally I would make a complaint but I was that angry I decided this will be the last time I eat here unless thing change. Sat on a Sunday afternoon with about 10 people eating this pub used to be packed.
Terrible visit this site regularly and I’m astonished how this evenings visit is quite so bad after many good visits. We started with our normal starters nachos and cheese too find nachos with no guacamole….and days old stale I didn’t even believe my partner until trying it myself, can’t believe it even arrived and our tables Next the best bit ordered a mix it up/sizzler chicken skewers I get arriving in front of me a plate with nothing but a pot of sauce 2 skewers and a handful of fries on its - No Skillet no peppers no onions, cold fries and chicken …..so I send it back as this isn’t what I’ve ordered via the app. I’m then Rudely told my the older lady on shift “well there’s a sign on the other till on the other side of the” which bear in mind I’ve not been too as we walked into the adult in area instead… I don’t understand honestly this isn’t my fault for being Served stale and incorrect food so how does you member of staff seem to think it’s fine to behave in such a manor
Service was absolutely brilliant, could not fault it at all and duty manager Steph was absolutely amazing. Good choice of food which came well prepared and nicely presented. As my local I would absolutely eat here again. Price is really good for what you get.
I came here after a busy weekend working in hospitality myself, Steph was absolutely amazing and so bubbly! she was working so hard bless her! As I work in the industry I always like to sit back and watch and she was the only one that was always busy and always had something in her hands! Steph wouldn't leave one place without taking something with her or tidying up, constantly multi tasking! You can tell she works so hard, especially watching others walk past empty glasses and plates as she's running around trying to keep on top of everything! I'll definitely be back, and would recommend the food was good!
Came here for dinner on Sunday after a busy weekend and Steph was absolutely amazing, she looked after us from the moment we walked in. Highly recommended!!
Lunch for 4 adults a 12 year old and two 8 year olds for £71 mains desserts and drinks. Although not haute cuisine the food was well cooked and the service was excellent
