Went for dinner with friends, the place is very specious, got two Bar stand. I don’t think you will return empty handed if you don’t have pre-booking until unless the entire place is booked for some party. And if the weather is sunny I would suggest seat outside. The food is good, I ordered for the India combo it was a good size meal for an adult, will have Naan, Rice, Curry and a dip Chutney. Place is kid’s friendly though they don’t have a play area am not sure about it. Ample parking space available, upto 3hrs it’s free. I would recommend for breakfast or dinner. And specially if you want treat your friends or a group dining it’s right place as you will have wide variety of Food & Drinks. Staffs are very friendly. Will visit again.
Had a few items the other day including the all time fav- Buttermilk Chicken Burger and Chicken Wings. Everything was good except for the Nachos which comes out cold so I had to pull the Nachos apart with 2 hands since the cheese was stuck solid. Special Christmas pizza was good as well.
Parking is free for customers, max length of stay is 3 hours then I believe you need a ticket. We went for a Sunday breakfast, good value and cooked well. Could of done with a few more beans, but they weren't watery which is always good! Good atmosphere, plenty of space and seemed pretty tidy. Bad point...they could of cleaned the cutlery better... I cleaned mine myself
Prices of food have gone up which is understandable.... My main gripe is the food portions being a lot smaller than they used to be, so value for money is quite poor! We eat out at The Woodlands Edge as they have decent food portions and good special offers all week... Plenty variety of drinks though and very fairly priced compared to most pubs!
Ordered breakfast for three people with coffee, machine out of milk, told to wait 5 minutes and it would be ready, went back no milk still, food arrived, tried again, eating breakfast, no milk still, tried one last time as others finished food. Still not done, so before we left asked for refund on coffees and told the machine had just been filled up so didn't need a refund, had to explain we wanted drinks with breakfast so yes did need a refund!! Other than that food was good, and it's a nice place for a great value meal. Will be going back.
Nice warm and cosy Also love the prices but sadly our breakfast was brought to us on cold plates,This meant our meal was also Luke warm. We understand there was a lot of people in at the time , The kitchen would have been very busy, Having said that, We are prepared to wait for a hot breakfast, Pete.
Always love a meal here. Came for lunch today. Ordered via the app. Food didn't take long at all and was delicious tennesee burger with a sauce that was to due for and hot as were the plates. I had pudding which was the cookie sandwich and sauce . It was spot on . Friendly waiting staff . Clean and tidy .
Called in with friends for breakfast. Great food, served really quickly. Good range of hot drinks from the machine. Clean and tidy with an open fire on a cold wet morning. Great cure for a hangover.
Cheap budget meal for the family which is exactly what you want to pay these days. The meals come out fast from ordering and hot, one thing to mention some meals need revising on size Tika Masala came with popadoms and Naan bread which was fantastic compared to my order of a chicken Katsu which barely came with any food at all. The staff are all very kind and helpful and work incredible hard. I must say getting rid of the play park thou, not a good idea in my opinion it looks like you know this too as it now looks very empty in the garden area lately. We understood there were two options of seating outside one for adults/quiet area and one side for parents with kids. I believe you bring back a decent park and you will see your return of more people in the summer.
Great place to catch up with mates. Good food and drinks. Good prices. Loved the open fireplace on a chilly evening.
