What a great little pub!!! Stumbled across this whilst staying in Swindon. The landlord, John, is very welcoming and made us feel very comfortable. The children were also made to feel welcome and John went out of his way to ensure the kids had fun everytime we visited. Would highly recommend this pub!! PS The landlord has great teeth xx
Great gig with Rush Hour playing, good company and friendly bar staff..
Great landlord John spends time to talk to customers. First time visited in 4 years and met so many old friends. Pub ticking along nicely and only local boozer in the area. We'll worth a visit

Came to Swindon to pick up a car decided to go to the Swiss Chalet for a drink before we headed home. The landlord made us feel so welcome as soon as we walked in.. cracking jokes and free nuts! What a lovely gent :
Used to love this place for live music but recently it's become very quiet.our last visit wasn't exactly pleasant.there was an awkward atmosphere,two people shouting and arguing in the pub and then a disturbance in the car park.will we be back?unlikely I'm sorry to say.

Fun Halloween event for the charity called 'The Yellow Bus Project'. Great crowd, many people in fancy dress. Twas good fun, with several live bands to listen to as well!
Not really a family pub. A limited choice of drinks and I'm not sure if they do food but The Swiss met my requirements at the time. A quiet place to enjoy a cold beer with my mates at the end of a busy day. They had BT Sport on as well which was a bonus.
Always good night loads of darts nice friendly bar staff
