Significant historical building with wall etchings and furniture from Shakespeare's period. Guides are enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Well worth a visit.

What a fantastic place to visit. The staff are hugely knowledgeable, enthusiastic and engaging. The exhibits are 21st century interactive and tactile. To look and touch a desk, some 300 years old, and be able to see and feel the engraved initials is truly atmospheric and brings the history to life. The school master was amazing, I was desperately running through Latin verb conjugations, convinced I'd be questioned on them! The lady at the beginning explaining all the history of the Guildhall, the finding of some of the most important paintings from the reformation, some 400+ years ago is truly remarkable and fantastic to see. Thank you so much for a fantastic glimpse into what life was like all that time ago.

Out of all the attractions I found this to be the most enjoyable. Really enjoyable visit with informative guides. I got the ticket for half price after producing the "full" ticket for other attractions which doesn't cover this or Hathaway house.

largely in original and authentic condition with respect to the Shakespearean era, still used by students today, knowledgeable and nice curators/guides
