This was my first visit to this Pub . And I was impressed. Good selection of Beers .also the staff were friendly to Have a Bit of a Banter with. Within walking distance of mile end tube station . Will definitely going again.? :-
Wanted a Sunday Roast as we were four Americans in search of a truly English experience. The recommended places were booked so I read reviews and settled for the Lord T. I guessed well as the people were super friendly, place was located in a great area and the food was outstanding. The beer selection was quite nice as well.
This charming pub is tucked away from the main path, but still conveniently close to Mile End station. I recently met a dear friend here who had been raving about this place for ages. They were absolutely right! The pub offers a great variety of beverages, and even though I don't drink alcohol, there were still plenty of options for me. The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. What surprised me the most is how spacious it is, with a cozy front area, a bright rear section, and a sizable outdoor space. I have visited this pub three times now, and it has consistently exceeded my expectations. That, to me, is the key to a great experience.
Best Sunday roast I've ever had. Portions were HUGE. Recommend having the half portions if you have a smaller/normal appetite. Great atmosphere and fantastic service.
Lovely local pub! Great selection of beers sour beer on tap!!! and had a very sweet cat wandering around. Staff were very sweet and helpful. Has a lovely little pub garden, perfect for sunny days! Will definitely be back to try a roast here, looked excellent, particularly with such a warm atmosphere.
