We had an evening meal here with friends. The atmosphere is lovely; very typical old English pub. Despite being busy the service was excellent. The food was good. Excellent steak, sea bass and the pizzas we had were delicious. Deserts great too. Excellent service from Jarek who was especially friendly and attentive.
Absolutely loved this place, came here for a late lunch before going to see a performance in the Resort arena. We had the warmest of welcomes and the restaurant was beautifully decorated. There's a large varied menu with good veggie and vegan options. The food was cooked really well and tasted so nice. Felt like a a lovely environment to spend a couple of hours. Just be careful you park in the pub carpark rather than the Holiday in carpark. The pub has it's own entrance but Google maps wants to direct you info the hotel.
The food was lovely, the staff were very helpful and friendly, toilets were clean. We all had a really nice time. Be very careful where you park I thought I was in there car park but I was in the hotel's which is the same piece of land I have got £100 fine. Great!!!!!
Such a lovely place to relax, have a beer and eat. Amazing food, awesome English vibes, the best service ever. If you ever go to Birmingham you MUST visit this place AT LEAST once!!!

Food was great. Mother's Day was booking only and very busy but food and service came quickly.
I booked online and requested a nice quiet table for three people. Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by a staff member who showed us to out table, which was exactly what i had asked for- a nice quiet corner. We requested our drinks upon sitting and was able to study the menu and make our decision quite quickly. We all ordered the fish and chips and they arrived quite promptly, the food was piping hot, how I like it and it turned out to be a delicious plate of food which we all enjoyed immensely. The service was quick, courteous and friendly.. the only negative point to mention is that the coffee machine was out of order so we had a pot of tea instead and we were unable to order any flame grilled items from the menu due to the grill being out of order. Please note the coffee machine was out of order on my previous visit on 27/11/22.
The service was fine & friendly. The meals were okay. We’ve definitely had MUCH better meals with yourselves. The one meal was advertised as lamb but came with 3 tiny bits - whereas we have had the exact same meal with you before and was of much better quality, with better side options too. The children’s meals were satisfactory but would be lovely to have an option for smaller children.
First time here for lunch whilst at the office on Birmingham Business Park. Better than expected & food was well presented & hot. Great value too! Will return at some point.
Great food and very accommodating. We turned up without having booked as we were at the NEC for an event. There were 10 of us and so we sat outside and ordered food which turned up so quickly and was delicious. The bar staff were more than happy to serve us and had a smile on their faces.
