The cigar lounge is pleasant, and their selection of drinks is good. Service is lovely and accommodating. You don't need a reservation, despite what Google and the website says. I only dock one star as their cigar selection is limited to a few Cubans; if they expanded their collection to others it would easily be the best place around to sit, enjoy a drink and smoke.
What can I say apart from absolutely blooming amazing! The staff are what makes it. From our young barman in his leopard print waistcoat, to the higher in chain Declan, Sonia and Everett… all were just a credit to this wonderful venue. A warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere even in such a prestigious establishment my partner and I felt right at home- and it was only our first visit. You’ll be seeing us again I can assure you : thanks everyone
Went here yesterday last minute and have to say was presently surprised. The terrace was bland, but the interior was nice. However, the customer service from everyone was impeccable. The gentleman managing the cigar area was extremely knowledgeable, personable and funny. Will definitely be returning and advise others to check it out. 4/5 because the decor in the terrace really doesn't reflect the rest of the hotel.
We stayed here for three nights with the family. Impeccable service and very friendly staff. Located in a quiet street but shops and restaurants at walking distance. Will definitly come back.
Live music on most days, cigar terrace, impeccable customer service and waiters. You don't know good service until you've been here. Knowledgeable staff and amazing ambience. I go here with friends, or when I want to read a book, drink a cocktail and listen to live music.
Great experience and friendly staff. Found the terrace a little bland but lots of personality inside. Shame service charge was added to the prepaid experience, but expected it to be expensive due to location.
Didn't stay here but went for drinks at the bar. Very cosy with a pianist and singer. Staff are very polite and attentive. The textured wallpaper and painting's were a nice touch. Glass of wine around the £7 mark.
Brilliant hidden little bar inside the Montague hotel. Covered from floor to ceiling in leopard skin print very attentive and helpful staff who added to the experience. Cocktails were amazing 5 star place
The Cigar Lounge at the Montague Arms feels like it's an add-on and not a dedicated cigar lounge. The seating area terrace is cozy enough with enough airflow. Although it's not in keeping with the rest of the aesthetics of the otherwise amazing Montague. Cigar selections are decent - however there is no humidor room that the customer can visit to make selections. Selections are based off a menu.
Came back , love it staff so friendly cocktails fantastic
