The atmosphere and service were impeccable. The best you could imagine. We went for the Masters of Art tea time and it was very disappointing. The food, not the presentation; the presentation was delightful. Each sandwich tasted awful. The teas were fine. The scones fine. But the expensive art pieces were just okay. Could find a better tea time anywhere, though not with this type of extraordinary ambiance and service.
The art afternoon tea is the BEST TEA TIME of London. The afternoon tea comes with 3 different courses : sandwiches, scones and cakes The food is delicious and very well presenting the truffle sandwich is amazing and the pastries are so pretty. The place is beautiful and the staff is very nice. I specified on the booking that it was my friend’s birthday and they gave her a small birthday cake at the end which was very cute and highly appreciated !! We had a wonderful wonderful time. I would advise to book early because it tends to be fully booked. Veggie option available Vegetarian options: Truffle egg sandwich Pickles and cucumber sandwich Hummus sandwich
Both interior and exterior was a healthy mix of old money vibes and modern class. The staff were very friendly and had a good attention to detail. Food was amazing and the lamb was out of this world!Food: 5/5
The BEST afternoon tea in London. I was delivered an impeccable 5-star experience from start to finish at the Rosewood. Each sandwich was savory and beautifully presented, and the pastries made in collaboration between Chef Mark Perkins and artist John Booth were intricate works of art that were also melt-in-your-mouth good. With each course, my server, Francesco, provided perfect tea pairing recommendations, and the staff also supplemented the experience by sharing anecdotes about the origins of each tea strain and its significance. I look forward to coming back for tea very soon!
The Art Afternoon Tea at The Mirror Room was, in my opinion, one of the finest afternoon tea experiences. It offered an impressive selection of rare teas, artistic food presentations, and a classy ambiance, all housed within Rosewood London. Chef Mark Perkins deserves kudos for infusing his artistic talent into the delectable pastries. It's no surprise that Mirror Room is acclaimed as the best contemporary afternoon tea in the UK. Our server, whose name I unfortunately forgot, was excellent. He provided detailed explanations about the teas' origins and suggested superb food pairings. Beyond the appealing aesthetics, the food tasted exceptional. Having traveled from the US to London for a memorable birthday celebration, I have no regrets choosing this venue. While it may be pricier compared to other afternoon teas in the area, I can confidently say it's worth every penny. I highly recommend the Mirror Room for a truly phenomenal experience.
To start with the good, the service was excellent and, so was the atmosphere. The servers are very attentive, make tea recommendations with every course, and are willing to accommodate different requests. However, we thought the cakes themselves were just okay, they were great to look at though. The scones were the highlight and the sandwiches were also very good.
Just one word , Thrilled . My 1st High Tea and it surpasses any other expectations. Just go for the Mariage Frères Tea !! The best scones awarded to this Mirror Room in London Kid-friendliness: High Chair is available
Very luxurious and beautiful space! Quiet, peaceful and pleasant. Loved my steak, great selection of wine.Food: 5/5
Beautiful experience overall. We had our anniversary day afternoon tea here the cakes were inspired by Hockney They all are delicious, although some of the sandwiches could have been better. We were happy with the service and the place itself. Food: 5/5
First afternoon tea experience in London and also celebrating our wedding anniversary, and among all the options we decided on Art Afternoon Tea at the Rosewood. It's a super classy, truly aesthetically pleasing experience, both in terms of the decor/ambiance and the food. Sandwiches and pastries were good some looked better than they tasted admittedly, but the teas were wonderful. The mini-cake for our anniversary was so impressive that I almost felt bad eating it! Service was a bit inconsistent, as there were times when it was difficult to get the attention of a host/hostess, but one young lady unfortunately didn't catch her name, but she mentioned she was from Fulham after we told her we were attending the Tottenham-Fulham match was incredibly attentive, explained all the teas to us, and gave great recommendations. Generally an exceptional afternoon tea experience, and worth the stop!
