Brunch at the brasserie after arriving back from Paris. The bottomless champagne brunch just over a bottle between two at £49 each was very good value. The breakfast was delicious. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Very sophisticated venue hidden upstairs in St Pancras Station. Well furnished and subtle some might say dim lighting. Plenty of space to dine and a reasonable sized bar area including seating out on the concourse. Excellent range of drinks and reasonably priced set menu. Just watch out for the "discretionary" service charge which is added to the bill without any approval.
Really lovely restaurant setting with Art Deco feel and lovely lighting. Service all round was great also. Personally I really enjoyed the food but it was more of a mixed bag for my girlfriend. The calamari was a little stringy, but the venison tartare was refined and beautifully balanced. The mains were excellent
Only 1 star & disappointment served by Searcys at the St Pancras Brasserie. Always judge a restaurant by the cleanliness of the toilets - if the toilets are spotless, so will the kitchen be. I question the kitchen cleanliness in this case. There were not many gluten free options on the menu unless you wanted an egg dish, which was very breakfast oriented. So, the duck & spring onion omelette looked the best option, only to be told when we ordered it was ham & cheese omelette. When it arrived, along with a pasta dish I chose, I suspect neither were freshly prepared or cooked on site. No gluten free desserts available other than ice cream or sorbet. We had two lovely glasses of chilled Riesling but the water was served slightly warm. To sum up, high prices for very average food. £60 for 2 very mediocre meals & 2 glasses of wine. Missing a huge opportunity.
A beautiful space, thoughtfully designed. Food is gorgeous- we plumped for the set menu and weren't disappointed. Vegetarian and vegan options are marked on the menu, but there was no indication of what was and wasn't gluten free so I took a chance. I was surprised by the lack of oysters, as I had thought they were on offer here, but the black sea bass with mussels I had more than made up for it. Staff were a little too eager to grab glasses when they still had a couple of fingers of champagne in, but otherwise lovely. It is expensive; 2 glasses of house champagne, 2 set menus with 3 courses, 2 glasses of English sparkling wine came in at just under £100. However, it's perfect for a special occasion, with an intimate and luxurious atmosphere. We were there to celebrate our relationship becoming official and it made the occasion magical.
This place is extremely strategic for me to have a full meal or a few pints while waiting for the train to depart London. I have been dining in this place since last year and I can confirm that their service is consistently excellent. Most foods are served at standard expectation, and the for-drink place is simply convenient to access most times. My personal all-time favourite is the taste of freedom the Freedom Lager. PS. Some pics were taken during Christmas.
Really good first date drinks here - very interesting venue with super friendly service and an amazing selection of champagnes and English Sparkling Wines along with some very tasty looking bar snacks/tapas style bites. Highly recommended 10/10
We had a lunch here with three courses meal and unlimited Bubblies. The food is very nice and nicely presented. We love the decor of the restaurant. Where is suppose only have 1 1/2 hours there with the unlimited Prosecco, other stuff keeps coming with more Prosecco‘s after the 1 1/2 hour. We had an enjoyable time there. It’s really good value for money if you can find the deal in time out. You can get the train to Saint Pancras International and went upstairs you will find a restaurant. Recommend it to all.
We were exploring the area and looking for a place for a quick drink and chill. We had a table seat, which looks comes with a comfy box sofa and blankets. It was February, so it is a little cold during the winter. But we stayed there for a couple of hours and enjoyed that private feeling, looking at Eurostar trains arriving and departing. The drinks can be a little bit pricey but we enjoyed cocktails/mocktails. Probably the counter seats are better for winter as I saw there was heating hanging from the ceiling.
Place looks amazing, makes you feel relaxed. Customer service is very good, polite staff. Best part is the food, it taste incredible. Price is bit on the expensive side, but it's worth it.
