A peach of a hotel on the west cliff area of Whitby, superbly situated at the corner of the horseshoe disc zone with amazing views looking out to sea from the bedroom we are in. Very clean and modern and you couldn't ask for a better host than Andi and Kerry. A real pleasure to be stopping here as Andi is full of local knowledge, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is out of this world, with endless supply of toast and tea if required. Plenty of space in the room with chairs and table to sit and take in the view if needed, a big double four poster bed and lovely ensuite bathroom. One of the best my wife and I have stayed at. Nothing is too much trouble for him, a real top class place. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed at The Langley for 2 nights, Andi and Kerry are amazing, honestly they couldn’t do enough to make you feel so special, from the moment you arrive to when you check out, so much so I feel like I’ve left my special friends behind and I want to go back! Rooms, views were everything you could wish for, cannot believe how a humble English breakfast can be made to look and taste so spectacular! See you soon Andi, Kerry.
The Langley Hotel is a fantastic place to stay while visiting the Whitby area. The rooms are very spacious and updated. The host and hostess are very accommodating and will provide you with any information that you need to make your stay more pleasant. We highly recommend the Langley Hotel.Rooms: 5/5
Andy and Kerry cannot do enough for you, every year we return they add another little extra to make our stay so enjoyable, would recommend them to anyone and we would not wish to stay anywhere else. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are to die for.We are already looking forward to our next stay there. Thank you once again Andy and Kerry for a lovely time.
Lovely 3 night stay at the Langley. Incredibly clean, large room. Great walk in shower. Excellent breakfast and super friendly, helpful owners. Nice sea view from room 1. Would definitely stay again when in Whitby.Rooms: 5/5
The hosts , Andi and Kerri were excellent, nothing was too much for them.The hotel was in an excellent position overlooking the promenade and waterfront with excellent views. Parking permits were provided by the hotel for parking outside the hotel. The rooms were large, clean and luxurious, our room No 4, had double aspect with two windows overlooking the sea. Breakfast was extensive and varied, and as my wife was coeliac they arranged beforehand to have all the alternatives available. One of the best long weekend breaks we have ever had. Lastly, Andi’s homemade Seville orange marmalade was so moorish.
We stayed for two nights at the Langley in Whitby and cannot recommend it highly enough. This lovely old building looking out over the sea is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and so so comfortable. The welcome from host Andi is warm & enthusiastic, and he has lots of recommendations for Whitby and the surrounding area to help you get the most from your stay. The breakfast was superb, with lots of choice, perfectly cooked. Andi has gone to great lengths to make the Langley Covid secure, so you will be able to stay here with every confidence.

Once again 3 absolutely wonderful nights at in our opinion the best place to stay in Whitby, the breakfast excellent and we can't say enough about the hosts Andi and kerry, so professional but so welcoming.Rooms: 5/5
