Great location. I stayed in the single room which had all you could need - kettle, tea, coffee biscuits, plenty of charging points, toilet and shower in the room itself. Clean room and very modern decor though the water ank was noisy refilling after every time the tap/shower/toilet were used and the walls were quite thin in the room (could hear someone in the next room snoring). Single glazed window, but it was on a quiet street and the heating was able to be adjusted to suit needs so no issues there. The shower was fine though not very powerful. An all in one shower gel and shampoo were provided. Breakfast was served from 8:30-9 though it seemed to already be full with couples by 8:30. A good selection of cereals (weetabix, bran flakes with added dried bananas and apples, muesli, coco pops), also available was natural yoghurt, fresh bananas, tinned peaches and mandarins. There were two fruit juices on offer - smooth orange and cranberry. The cooked breakfast options were Full English, Vegetarian full English or poached eggs on toast. The full English consisted of a slice good quality non-streaky unsmoked bacon, black pudding (I swapped it out for Hash brown which was great), a tinned tomato, 4 small mushrooms, baked beans, and a strong tasting sausage. Toast, tea and coffee were also offered. Hosts were pleasant and offered what they could.

Stayed at this lovely B & B for 3 nights with my wife Wendy and we both thought it was a fantastic place to stay. Both Mick & Sheila are lovely down to earth people who make you most welcome and serve you a great breakfast after a good night's sleep. Keep up the good work...........

Probably the best BnB I've ever stayed in. The hospitality was on another level from what I have experienced before. The breakfast was prepared excellently and tasted great each morning. I paid around 1.60 for the four days parking as you do need a parking 'disk' which allows you to park in the areas marked 'disk zone' around the town.

Stayed here 2nd till 4th september 2016 .can only say what a great place to stay .the hosts were so helpfull . The rooms were much better than i had expected for the price. .i would recomend this place to anyone.i know say no more . Thankyou shiela and mick . Ps great breakfast. .
