It's worth noting that the King's Arms is under new management in 2018 and has greatly improved. Best to disregard older reviews. Nice place good food.

Nice country pub, good breakfast, large room. Could do with a better bed but for price it's amazing!

Very bad .... ..but the 2 lads (staff ) ..were understanding and fairly clean a part from a couple of stains on the carpet and the only reason I stayed other wise I would had gone across the road What hotel these days have no TV in their room ? Old fashion just shabby and no life ! Imagine .....one TV unit with no TV. ....in fact as a deluxe room and the price was a joke and if there was a TV it should be on the wall. We did have clean bedding but no matteress cover or pillow covers ! I get the feeling the owner needs to go and stay at a hotel for the price he charges to see the difference. ....at least get a long mirror and tasteful pictures to hang on the empty walls . Very noisy above us but it is an old old hotel and had a lot of the old left in the walls which is a nice touch ..... A TIP .......put some numbers on the doors
