What a fabulous place. The horses are steady and fun. The staff and owner genuinely want you to have the holiday you hoped for; they are flexible to solve problems and adjust to the weather. The accommodation and stables are immaculate. I would recommend and plan to go back. The scenery is truly stunning; you can ride for miles with almost no roads at all. This is a find.

What an outstanding facility. A truly professional establishment. They really know what they are doing and match horses and riders meticulously. They know how to inspire confidence... I can't wait to return!

Colin and Alison were very kind and helpful. We arrived exhausted after riding to their yard over the hills. They provided us with a lovely clean stable, helped out with an extra rug for my horse, and even swooped some feed for me so my picky horse's tummy was satisfied! The place is beautifully organised and they know the area very well and so are able to help you plan lovely routes. It was a complete luxury being able to wash and dry our tack etc right by my horse. Colin and Alison really have thought of everything! The other horses were very well looked after and content and so mine therefore settled in very well. Well looked after fields too. Our little studio was perfect, lovely and cosy with everything you need. The perfect base with the perfect hosts for you and your horse to explore the hills.

I stayed at Stonetrail in a wonderful house in an amazing location. The horse riding in the area is quite breathtaking and everyone at Stonetrail looked after me well. A truly professional stable with excellent horses. I could not have asked for more.
