Just had the most fantastic night in this wee gem in Lockerbie it’s actually quite big. Its run like a small family hotel and everyone was super friendly.nnMy room was bigger than my house! Cosy, VERY clean, modern and well equipped. Food was fresh and tasty. Just what i needed.nnEven met TED, the wee pub dog that comes down near closing time. Adorable.nnHighly recommend
Ate in here while staying nearby. The pub was dog friendly and the staff were lovely! Great pub food and very reasonable prices. The log fires made it very cosy. Thank you very much
Had the Sunday carvery booked a table wasn't in the book I phoned up and booked it then my partner phoned a day after to change booking to add to more people on it. Had to sit on a little table not very good beef was over cooked so hard veg cold gravy cold staff never know what they was doing really well said about the food being cold and not even a sorry or anything had to pay before we got our dinner the only thing good was the coke I had maybe it was just a one off maybe having a bad day but it wasn't very good really don't think we will be back
The King's Arms was recommended to me by relatives as the perfect stop over on the way to the Scottish Highlands. So I booked a one night stay on the way up and again on the return journey. Sam was lovely and welcoming, very tolerant of my nervous barking dog and even thoughtfully left some dog treats on the table for her! Evening meal and breakfast were very good. Rooms clean and comfortable. Loved the staircase and thrones at the top! Parking at the rear was ideal and free! and there's a lovely park next to it, really handy for walking my dog. The locals were exceptionally friendly. Would definitely stay again, thank you for making a lone traveller apart from the pooch! feel comfortable and welcome.
We stopped off at Lockerbie on the drive up to Glasgow. The front lounge is dog friendly and there is free parking just around the corner. We had paninis with chips which were absolutely delicious!
