Great food. Lovely wine. Perfect evening with friends. Highly recommended. You know the food is going to be good when you get to discuss the best cut off beef with the butcher because he drinks there.

After a beautiful walk from Crickhowell we had a fabulous Sunday lunch here. You can that The Kestral Inn is a family run establishment that makes you feel welcome and is homely. The food is to be commended and the beer garden has a lovely view too!!

I have staid there for 3 nights with my son and we both loved it! Food was very nice as well and we were provided with a tasty lunch pack to go hiking. Very warm welcome from Richard and his wife.

What a fantastic restaurant and a gem of the local area. The owners lived in France for a long time and this, as well as a passion for French food is telling both in the menu and service.

Really good freshly cooked food! Very nice restaurant with country charm and stunning views of the Black Mountains. Good quality food and drink with excellent service. Friendly hosts are even willing to accommodate special needs for a fussy vegan like me. 5 STARS - ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
