Great hotel with fantastic views. Staff were lovely and overall we enjoyed our stay. Room was fine for our needs and the price so can't complain, it was clean and fresh. Thanks to all and hope to see you next year.Rooms: 4/5
Went for a wedding. Could not fault any aspect of the catering or the service. Rooms were OK, but for £120 a night, could have been better. Beds very comfortable, but rooms themselves pretty small and shabby in places. Rooms: Small for the money, and some attention needed to details. Food & drinks: Outstandingly delicious.
Stayed here while in the area on business. Views from this hotel are outstanding, lovely views of the welsh countryside! Inside the place is very nice, a rustic feel with this being an older building. Rooms are nice with a few areas a bit rough around the edges. However was very clean and had a comfy bed. Used the leisure facilities while staying which were old to say the least. Gym equipment is worn out and in need of upgrading to more modern equipment and the pool is small but useable. The changing facilities are also dodgy with extremely slippy floors and very small. Also charging guests to use these on top of the room is a bit much considerabing whats on offer. Had dinner in resturant which was very nice! Had a fantastic nights sleep which helps aswell!. Breakfast was faultless, super. Overall, a great stay.
The moment we arrived and parked the view alone was breathtaking. Lovely warm welcome at reception and instantly we were impressed with the look of the place. The dining area and leather sofas were very inviting and once again the view across the rolling hills whilst eating and drinking was stunning. If ever this was a unique selling point the hotel should take full advantage with their website photos. Big praise to the chef for some cracking food and the staff couldn't do enough to look after us when needed. Great to see this Lovely hotel busy after the last 2 tough years with Covid, I would highly recommend a stay to anyone and when you book ask for a room at the front of the hotel, the views from the bedrooms are worth every penny.
We held our wedding at The Manor three weeks ago. We booked the whole hotel for our bridal party and guests. From the moment we arrived everything was just perfect. The rooms, the view, our ceremony the food and disco. Special mention to Charlotte who was always one step ahead. We had an amazing time and so did all our guests.Rooms: 5/5
Stayed for 2 nights with a large group, the whole weekend was excellent. The food was brilliant, the gym and spa was clean, there are beautiful views from the window, and it is located in a great area. All the staff were very welcoming, but need a special mention for Naomi who went above and beyond to ensure our trip was everything we could have hoped for. For a 3 star hotel it does not get better than this & when returning to this part of the world we will definitely be staying here again.
My daughter and I stayed for 4 nights and I loved this hotel, it felt like home away from home. Beautiful views, really friendly staff and private little pool. Breakfasts were generous and delicious, the hotel is also dog friendly, if I knew we definitely would have brought ours. The Manor doesn't try to be a luxurious hotel but that's OK it is seeping in history and full of charm ..loved it, thank you, Fionnuala and Sofia x
Quiet and lovely. Good Spa but it chargeable extra £6/person/day. I liked that there is cooked breakfast. Hiking is around 10-20 minutes drive. Town is 2 minutes drive.Rooms: 5/5
I've signed up as a member of its gym because the pool, jacuzzi, and sauna facilities are wonderful!Rooms: 5/5
Room was noisy, shabby, needed cleaned and updated. Leisure suite was dirty, pool cold and no lighting in sauna. Food was over priced, poor quality and not cooked well. The list of issues goes on....Rooms: 1/5
