Had a lovely tea there it had a ginger cake to die for, lovely log fire well presented place so clean , loved the basket of wellies in the toilet beautiful grounds with daffy and tulips in Bloom.

Just returned from a guided tree walk and lunch at Gliffaes Country House Hotel. It was a glorious morning and the owner took us through the grounds clearly showing his real love for his trees. The hotel setting above a Valley with the River Usk below is stunning. We were served a buffet 2 Course lunch and the staff were exemplary.

I love this place, we like to go in the autumn or near Christmas as it's so cozy it's like a second home. The grounds are stunning and we love a walk around them after the spectacular afternoon tea. The bar is really nice for a sit before dinner (the food is absolutely gorgeous by the way) and the lounge with its huge open fire is lovely for a sit after dinner (well that's our routine!). Can't recommend enough and really look forward to our next visit.
