As usual the Real Ale is excellent Shuggy Boat and Blonde Star are house ales as usual. Excellent stock of everything drinks wise. Come on Ladhar Group replace carpets and upholstery, nothing more is needed
Just had a pint here, was good.Quiet when we were there, lots of dog walkers in there but quiet and well behaved onesdogs as well.place has hardly changed in 30 odd years if you've been before.
A bit dated. Dog friendly. Limited choice of ales.
Never been in for 20 years and won't be returning, think they have the same carpets down, could not stay still or would have stuck to it, think the dogs use it as the toilet, absolutely disgusting. Place has no atmosphere and ridiculously expensive.
The drinks are decently priced compared to some of the other pubs in Cramlington and the atmosphere is very good, this pub is quiet and civilised.
This place is in serious need updating the carpet has more gafer tape on it and as for the gents toilet the smell is of the plant I feel sorry for the staff 20 years since I was last in same decor I thing
We went here for a birthday party. The venue was great. So we can't really give a overall review of the place
My previous review of this pub was "Most civilised pub in the village". Unfortunately I now need to change this and for one reason alone. The new manager is an abomination. A more crass and common individual you will not find. All her staff seemingly detest her, possibly down to the fact that she is usually drunk at work, that was certainly the impression I had last night. Please SJF, deal with this situation and bring in a competent and civilised manager and return this pubs dignity. Fiona, Jonathan, Andy......... if you're listening please help!
Good pub in need of a lot of TLC, good selection of real ales but expensive. If you are a dog lover it us ideal as it is dog friendly also has a large beer garden.
Great place for a catch up with friends very friendly staff
