First time trying here. It was awful.  The chips had been reheated more than once and were vile.  The fish cooked really quickly and the batter was too well done and was so full of oil it made me feel sick.  Tried to feed it to my dogs and even they turned their noses up at it.  I would never recommend here and will never use again.  What a waste of money.

Cold food. And, from years in the food industry, I know when chips are cooked in old oil. Looks clean, but cooks dirty. Very disappointing. Below par kebab meat too. Closest takeaway to me. I'll go further afield from now on tho.

I ordered 1cod and chips , 1 haddock and chips jumbo sausage peas and curry sauce. It cost £23.10 total waste of money. Fish was burned my wife even took a photo to show our friends. The chips were disgusting dry and hard . I would not recommend and I would NEVER use this chippy again. I telephoned to tell the staff and all she said was oh sorry!!!!!!

Great prices, chips were perfectly cooked and the curry sauce was the best I've had in a long time. Will definitely be going back!

Service is slow, one taking and getting the meals and one cooking when it was packed. Kebab and chips had a rubber texture which was awful. Kebab wasn’t that good, trying to saying it’s a “premium” kebab meat, highly doubt that! Chips were half ok but still wouldn’t recommend this chippy, was a lot better with the old owner. Next time I would rather go to brockwell where you’re never dissatisfied with the food!

If there was a minus button I'd press it. Absolutely shocking what they class as fish and chips.... All burnt, well, charred may be a better word. The batter want crispy a all, just a soggy mess. We will never use again and will stop as many others as possible too. Just awful!!!!

Probably the worst fish snd chips i had, chips were so dry they were inedible, fish clearly fried in old oil, purchased 6 portions of fish chips, waste of money.

First time I've been here and must say that was one of the best fish and chips I've ever eaten. Firstly the place is spotless, it looks brand new and everything is sparkling clean. Service was fast but there was a short wait as the fish is cooked fresh, the chips were quite fresh also and nicely cooked, not greasey and soft. The curry sauce was nice, not too thick and not too spicey. Even got the food in a large paper bag, which kept it warm and is recyclable, rather than a plastic bag which gets filled with condensation. Highly recommend.

New owners, but still Great service, Great food which is cooked to order if you don't mind a short wait.

Best fish n chips for miles around, possibly best I've ever had, but more importantly is that it's every time! So glad I found this place. Lovely staff too unusual in a chip shop, and always clean. If it was located elsewhere there'd be queues down the street. Wish them continued success, keep it up. Ta
