I spent a few hours here last week and the place is nice and has plenty of space inside. The inside is clean and the staff are very good and always ready to serve the customers. There is plenty of room with many tables and an outdoor smoking area at the back. The prices for food and drink are good compared to rival pubs in the area and you can tell because most of the town locals drink here.
Visited the amazing pub, stunning frontage and so clean, lovely location with a happy safe atmosphere. Very family friendly with clean tables and toilets. Only got half the order however staff put it right within a few minutes. All four of us eat well and enjoyed the banter from staff and the locals. Top class service, food and drink in a safe environment. Keep up the good work... Vegetarian options: Tasty food served quickly and filling. Dietary restrictions: Vegan and vegetarian food
Shame about this one whats with the half measures when no ice is requested. Pepsi was on its last legs nearly flat and tastledd Not my favourite weatherspoons no real character. Food was quick but old chips been around too long and seemed reheated. Mens toilet out of use so had to keep adding staff for the disabled toilets key. Very inconvenient Don't think I'll try this one again
The pub is fine and has a good selection of beers at reasonable prices. The problem is the food. You don't expect much from a weatherspoon, but they consistently fail to clear even that low bar. How anyone can get an all day brunch so badly wrong frankly baffles me. As for the steaks, rubbery and as chewy as shoe leather. Just inedible. If you aim is to get drunk, it's fine. However if you want to line your stomach first, eat somewhere else.
Foods alright for the price. Nice pub and friendly, helpful staff. Waiting time was quite good considering how busy they were. Would go again.Food: 3/5
Average spoons pub to be honest! Clean enough, food is okay but not great, staff are polite. It's always incredibly busy with nowhere to sit, noisy and smells funny. Possibly just not the right place for me!Food: 3/5
Came for food and drinks here. Both were great. Good atmosphere. Even though it was busy on a Friday, we were served promptly and food came out quickly and was nice and hot. Everything you expectFood: 5/5
Quick pint as I had a bit of time to kill.
Clean and tidy, food arrives quickly. Staff are friendly. Very nice and the food is well priced, what a bonus. The fact that you can do it all through an app is still amazing! Sadly it looks like the meals are suffering with shrinkflation at the moment. Core items are becoming add-ons, for a cost... Black pudding in this spoons is almost unheard of!
Refillable coffee. How can I resist. Haha .I loved the chicken basket bites with sticky soy sauce. Devine. Tried the lemon chicken as well. Not to my taste, but perfectly cooked .do try you may like it.Food: 5/5
