Great meal with friends. All the food was really tasty, piping hot and the staff were really friendly. Would definitely go back.
Great food and pleasant staff the only thing that lets it down is it's very cold in there with having all the outside doors open till after 9pm so then your food soon goes cold very quick.
The new Chinese restaurant is cafe style and has the same decor as many years ago. The mixed starter was very nice although the Kung po chicken was very different to other restaurants and very salty. The staff were very friendly.

Waited over an hr, ..... and only live across from the pub, food was cold and tasteless, the only decent thing was the prawn toast which they didnt make. Prices over the top, wouldn't go back there.
Went for a sit down Chinese, the place is dated, cold with plastic table cloths, food was expensive and totally bland. We was given a tiny sandwich plate to eat off. Worse place and food we have ever had, save your money and avoid
Been popping in over Christmas. Have lived in the village a few years and wished we popped in sooner. Have had a great time. Paul and Sharon are so welcoming. This is defiantly our new local. See you again soon
Nice pub nice staff good food clean toiletswell done. Many thanks to nice lady I met at car wash who recommended it to me. A menu a first glance looks basic. However, the food was really good well prepared, good portion size,very fresh salad side. Sweets very good too. I would not hesitate to use again or recommend.
First visit, but definitely not the last one. The staff at the pub is a very polite and warm to their customers. Food is a first class, served nice and hot, fresh and delicious veegs my steak was the best I have ate for a very long time. See you soon The Wheatsheaf
We came with some friends for dinner last night. Hadn't been in for about 15 years. Nice fire going, friendly staff, good service and my fillet steak was amazing, one of the best I've had, it melted in the mouth. Cooked just as I asked. Will be back for another one soon. Thank you.
