Nice place, really good food but a little expensive. £13 for a burger and a coke is a bit much but it was really tasty. If the price had been a little better would have been 5 stars hands down.
Saturdays live band was great, need more nights of entertainment like this. Shame there wasn't more support
Its a nice cosy old pub with a very good clash of the old and new to the decor, Active fire place and they show the football. Timber beams giving it that period features and they have function room for private parties. Worth a visit!
Warming and accommodating bar staff as for the DJ playing music outstanding.
Came to Spalding for the day and found this pub along the river front. We received the most amazing welcome and the drinks were lovely, cold and fresh. The two men behind the bar were really friendly and told us about other good places to drink in the area as we weren't sure. Thoroughly recommend... lots of indoor seating in snugs and more open areas as well as two outdoor seating areas.
Arrived Friday afternoon to a very friendly staff member, she made us a cup of tea while we waited for our room to be made ready, had a fantastic meal and a good pint, the town was beautiful, bar staff good and again helpful. The room was very basic but extremely clean, slept really well. Thank you for a very pleasant stay, will be back again.

I stayed two nights over a weekend for a wedding and the food was nicer than a Michelin star'd hotel i have recently eaten at. The staff were helpful and pleasant to be around. The selection of drinks was fantastic. I also love that dogs are welcome.
Great pub, the food looks good and great Live Music!
