I had my first Guinness here! It was pretty yummy to be honest. Very smooth and creamy. No idea if it's meant to be like that but it was good though it'll probably be my last as I'm much more of a cocktail person. Bartender was very friendly and there were a fair few seats for it being a cosy location, including ones on the outside too.
Popped in to the International Bar in Wicklow St. It still hasn't changed. Still the old Dublin pub ambience, wood and leather. No plastic thank God. I enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere, the jolly punters and the courteous, staff.Dotted around on the shelves some memories of times past. A all round pleasant evening had by all, with prices surprisingly acceptable for Dublin City center pubs.
Great venue for musicians from all kinds, also holds sports games viewings that you can attend for free. The vibe is always very welcoming and the place is very well decorated, and there are a lot seats for customers.
Great old world proper pub. Friendly staff and a great pint of stout. Mix of locals and tourists. One of the nicer pub in the city when the sun comes through the large south facing windows. Probably one of the busiest corners in the city also to people watch from a table outside. Random sessions often start on a whim. Nice toasted sandwiches and soups too. Worth visiting.
Great atmosphere and drinks, loved stopping by after a morning of sightseeing.
Great traditional pub - very nice pint of Guinness. Meet Lorcan Collins there for a wonderful "1916 rebellion walking tour" - thank you Lorcan - very entertaining.
Nice and iconic old style irish pub. Like it.
Perfect surprisingly very small intimate venue that has so many talented comedians on when open. A brilliantly funny MCSimon and a great barman Maurice who are sound out and very friendly
The comedy here just keeps on giving. We went here for a friends birthday and wow, what an evening. My tummy hurts from all the laughing. Can’t wait to go back. Great drinks & would totally recommend going here if you’re visiting Dublin!
We went here for my friends birthday and all the acts were absolutely spectacular. Such a lovely evening if you’re visiting Dublin, would recommend highly!
