A friend recommended this pub so we stopped by for a pint. Even on a Monday night it was pretty busy. The atmosphere was cozy and authentic. The staff were friendly and we got our drinks quickly.
Very nice Irish pub in the middle of the city center. This is a very classic Irish pub. Cozy inside and great pints of Guinness. Grogans also have an outside area for smokers with heathers, chairs and tables. Pretty cool place.
My first pub experience in Dublin and it was great,it was Saturday afternoon and totally packed but I found a seat at the bar and enjoyed the atmosphere until closing.Friendly staff and friendly locals, don't miss out on a ham and cheese toastie with hot mustard.
A small pub located near Wicklow Street which has some positives going for it. I found that the drinks were well presented and consisted of a good head on them. The only food they serve here are sandwiches which makes the eating experience very limited. I ordered the special sandwich which came with ham, cheese, onions and tomotoes. The sandwich was nice but it took an age to arrive to the table which was poor as its the only food they serve in this place. As the day went on crisps were requested but they didn't have any which was poor. A good drink selection on draught to be fair and a nice interior too. Overall a mixed bag but worth a visit
Order the special and a few Guiness...can't go wrong. Aircon on the hot day was nice as well. Plenty of outdoor seating. Mint.
The best bar in Dublin. Sadly the cost of living has driven away most of the old arty crowd featured in the stained glass inside. Aside from that it still retains its character They switched the ladies and gents around so its funny to see people still head for the wrong door. Old habits die hard.
We didn’t order anything to eat. But the beers and ciders were quick and the service made sense. Good beers, good cider. We sat at the bar and since you have to go to the counter for service it’s not a bad idea if you don’t mind people crowding to order their drinks. Friendly staff and close quarters. If you’re in Dublin check it out for a pint.
They only serve one food item, but it is the most perfect toastie of all time. Get it with everything, you won’t be disappointed!
I recently visited a Grogans and was impressed with the overall atmosphere. The bar had a great selection of drinks and the bartenders were amicable and friendly. The drinks were well made and the prices were reasonable. The bar also had a great atmosphere, with comfortable seating both indoors and outdoors and a lively atmosphere. Overall, I had a great time at the Grogans and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a fun night out.
One of the best locations in Dublin for Guinness & a simple toasted special. Never disappointed. Very busy but the bar staff are amazing at finding you seating wherever they can. Chats with random people because of this arrangement make it a great location to pop in for locals and tourists alike.
