A great pub with one of the best licensees and wife you could ever meet. A good old fashioned pub and that's not being disrespectful. Andy and Kay are what people running pubs used to be like. Their Covid19 systems make it a very safe pub.

We dropped in this evening, they were very friendly, the draught bit was excellent and we enjoyed a relaxed drink.  I've only marked down slightly as they do not serve food of any sort and the choice of find is a little limited.  But for a small country pub this is worth the trip.

Me and my partner stumbled across this pub on our walk today. We went in for a couple of glasses of coke and we was made to feel more than welcome and will definitely be going back

Andrew and Kay are amazing hosts. Very welcoming. The open fires add to the lovely atmosphere of the place. The pub is ideal for walkers and welcomes dogs in the tap room.

Open fire, very "local", some real ales... No muddy boots policy= -1 star
