Went for a full English and to watch a football match, decor is so nice and the staff are lovely. Lots of big TV screens. Food cooked to perfection! Child friendly with books and crayons. We loved it! Parking: Carpark is huge! Kid-friendliness: Books and crayons for kids with plenty of high chairs. Baby changing is really nice and clean. Wheelchair accessibility: Disabled parking and easy access from the side

I visited here on 3rd feb and Had a cute little date night Me and mi amoré / Best friend and carer. we really do enjoy coming to eat here as the food is delicious, ill add few pics of things weve had over time as returning customers. Most Staff was friendly and helpful with everything unfortunately though when we arrived we had called that morning and reserved a booth table for 8pm and some other people were at it when we got there for our booking time but staff soon sorted it out. My only critique would be, staff need to observe who's at the bar and the order they come in as we waited 10+ minutes as while we stood patiently 4 separate people came to the bar after us and got served before we did and then when they finally served me I told them I had a reservation for 8pm and when she realised someone was at it she proceeded to say cus of the table mix up too " you are 10 minutes late for your reservation" and I told her I wasn't late iv been here waiting to get served and to tell staff that we have arrived for our reservation. I will give the girl the benefit of the doubt as iv been a long time customer maybe she was having a bad/rough day or something as her attitude towards us as customers and just the huffing and puffing about was not necessary at all and made us feel like we was burdening her. I will be returning as I'm giving it the benefit of doubt, she's lucky we are regulars and not a new customer as they wouldn't have returned but as i have never had this problem before and I'm hoping to see a change in her behaviour/attitude but if she is the same next time, then I will directly speak to management and pass on her name. Leaving this review on a quick note - 1 star was lost on service because of the girl and the other star on food was lost because the hunters chicken meal is absolutely delicious but them chicken breast are absolutely tiny and not suitable for an adults meal, a childs maybe but not adults it literally takes about 2- 3 bites for 1 chicken breast, you should seriously consider changing up which ever wholesalers you get your chicken from. Thanks as always for all the delicious foods we've tried, next time I hope I can give you 5/5 on everything. Beautiful building and grounds,huge carpark and very impressive beer garden with outdoor TV screen. We called in Sunday dinner time and were given a friendly greeting by the bar staff, they served us straight away and we ordered three meals and a starter. Within a couple of minutes of finishing the starters our main meal arrived. Both starter and the main meals looked great,were piping hot and tasted great and the waiting staff checked everything was ok twice. Very impressive,a great experience, highly recommend and I would return.
We have been coming here quite regularly for many years now as a family. Our server Lucas who we've had a few times now is always so polite, friendly and well mannered. One of the meals was slightly wrong last Friday and he sorted it for us straight away. He's a great asset to your team.Food: 5/5
The mixed grill I had was wonderful and the steak cooked perfectly, my partner was extremely happy with the tandoori sizzler, nice friendly staff and a good pint.Food: 5/5
Attended private function so only applies to that aspect, not main bar. Function room on first floor, no obvious disabled entry/access. Room was a good size for the ~80 guests, with private bar and two staff, so no long waits plus has a small dance floor area. Food, finger style buffet was excellent, both in variety and quality. The only downside, hence 4* were the toilets comment refers to gents, didn't inspect ladies a throw back to the 80's, awful! Not clean, smelly, dirty with out of date facilities - very poor show. If they sort them would be 5* and heartily recommended.
Absolutely brilliant service. The manager or who I think is the manager, man with tattoos and the lady with him, also with tattoos. Couldn't do more for us.My family were incredibly fussy with what they wanted and they did everything they could to accommodate. Couldn't ask for anything more, we had a fantastic bank holiday Friday. Thank you so much! We'll be back
The food it frozen its orable stake got funny taste dident even eat my food. The last time i came here it was the same I sent my food back. The prices of the food isent cheap it's expensive but orable. The beer has a funny taste everything I come not coming again minght come back to pick concers out side about the only thing this pub has going for it. Go to phoenix or British Oak if you won't nices fresh food.
Great food, toilets are shabby and all was blocked but as soon as we told them about the situation they sorted it. We used disabled in mean time. Vegan and gluten free options are fantastic deffo recommended Vegetarian options: Vegan options fab I had burger and nachos Dietary restrictions: My mum's gluten free and there's loads to choose from
