Cosy little pub! We came here for some lunch as the weather was nice and we wanted to sit outside with some food. Lovely little spot, plenty of outdoor seating, the food menu was small and nice for those wanting to eat outdoors. I had the roast meat of the day sandwich with Gravy and home cooked chips. It was delicious! My husband had the chicken burger and my daughter had chicken nuggets. We sat over the little bridge in a garden area which my daughter enjoyed walking round and spotting all the little wildlife. Overall we had a lovely couple of hours here and would definitely come again.
Lovely traditional pub . Simple, well priced food , nice pint of Landlord beer. Sat outside , so quiet and away from it all. First time we had been in maybe 20 years. Will definitely be back.Food: 4/5
First time here lovely pub and friendly staff had the beef curry very nice my wife had Caesar salad £9 .95 for the lettuce and mayonnaise £4.0 for 4 pieces of chicken. £13.95 for a salad. Shame Overall I would have liked to have given more stars but for the shock of the Caesar salad:- sorry.
We absolutely love the food here, its great for vegetarians too with a separate vegetarian specials board. We had spiced cauliflower pie, veg, hand cut chips and gravyFood: 5/5
Excellent family meal with great food and attentive service. Would definitely recommend paying a visit. Wide selection of food to choose from the menu, plus a specials board, and it was all delicious. Good beers too. 5 stars all round!Food: 5/5
Great birthday meal here tonight. All the dishes we had were cooked to perfection & the service was excellent. We loved the music tape which brought back lots of memories & sparked others. We are only here for the weekend or we would be regulars.Food: 5/5
Pub smelt of toilets as we walked in. Zero people inside the pub, a few people outside despite it being a lovely sunny day. Ordered 3 main meals including the caesar salad for myself and a side of chips for the table. We waited for what seemed like an eternity and when it came my heart sank. It consisted of yellow lettuce leaves and 6 croutons which can only be described as inedible at a cost of £9.95 and I paid £4 extra for a piece of anaemic looking chicken. I was hungry so ate the chicken and was going to tell the one member of staff serving food and the bar when she came to ask if everything was OK. She never came and we had to leave. Will never return for food. The only saving grace is that it's in a nice spot for a walk hence the 1*
After a dog walk, we stopped at the bridge inn, a very welcoming place, dog friendly. We had chips for food but they were berry good and well cooked. Good selection of drinks available.Food: 4/5
Just popped in to check the place out to visit in the future for a meal.. Young chap behind the bar was very freindly and helpful. Menu looks really good and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back for a meal.Service: 5/5
Came here for a lunch with my husband and sister in law. They do a great steak and ale pie here, which we all had. Didn’t disappoint. Several options on the menu but you cannot go wrong with the pies. The service was great too, with a very friendly server behind the counter and kind kitchen staff. I removed one star because during our meal, there were multiple flies flying around and these were obviously a nuisance. Plenty of parking.
