Lovely little local pub. I do work here Great atmosphere and the regular customers and staff are both lovely to be around. Pub is dog friendly and has a play ground on the back for kids to enjoy as well as plenty of outdoor seating on the back for in the summer time. Plays the sports on the TV's and when the sports aren't on usually have scores playing on sky sports news.

We used the small room for a private function, it was ideal for the amount of people we had, we were given the room early which allowed us to set up and decorate, there were also 2 TV screens if we wanted to use our own plug and play gadgets, the staff were very helpful and accommodating and helped us a buffet table would defo recommend for small parties less than 30 people. Its on 51 bus route and also not far from Hollinsend tram stop. Drink prices were very reasonable too. Would defo use again. Kid-friendliness: Very child friendly pub
A lovely beer garden with cute play area for under 4's and bigger area for older kids. Nice selection of drinks, no food served in the pub but always a nice trip outService: 5/5
The most hospitable and caring staff, so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and positive every time I've been in, you can sit alone or in a group and still talk to new people as well as familiar faces. They do always have sports on so I've found myself watching things I wouldn't normally which is a lovely change of pace. Landlords are always there and up for a chat or there to participate in the quiz absolutely fantastic.
Owners run a great pub. A warm welcome from all is had. The choice of ales is good, changes daily. Great pub. Great beer. Great people. Great time to be had by all. Well Done Gill and Niki

Took my puppy with me and they were very dog friendly giving him water and treats. The service for humans was great as well! My husbsnd was happy with selection of beer and the prices. Will definately visit again.
