Recently dined at The Norton in Sheffield with a group of friends. The service was quick and pleasant, with all our dishes served at the same time. The ribs and grilled chicken were delicious and nicely prepared, complemented well by the tasty grilled vegetables. Overall, a great dining experience — highly recommend for a friendly gathering!
The Norton is a great local pub in Sheffield. It is within easy walking distance from the Doubletree Hotel. I had the fish and chips with peas instead of the mushy peas. I ordered on my phone, but had to ask my table number. The fish and chips were excellent, and not greasy at all. The coating was very light and the cod was cooked just right. I was able to watch a Euro 2024 match with my new temporary neighbors. A fine English afternoon.
I've booked The Norton's function room twice, for a baby shower and birthday party. I can't recommend this venue enough! We were able to decorate the room as we liked, set up in plenty of time, have a sit down meal but there's also a buffet adoption avaliable too, all for a very reasonable deposit, which gets taken off your food after. We will definitely be using this venue again. We all felt so welcome, the customer service was so professional, friendly, inclusive and of course the food was delicious! Dietary restrictions: They were also very accommodating regarding my Celiac Disease.
Lovely food, staff very friendly and helpful, especially with my gluten and dairy intolerant. Atmosphere was very good. Both my sister and myself had a lovely lunch Dietary restrictions: Bar staff and chef help me decide what I could have, with my gluten and dairy intolerant. I would recommend and come back here
Visited this pub with family, and I can say it was absolutely awful, they clearly don’t listen to food instructions. Asked for a medium rare steak and they’ve sent out a steak cooked enough to have u chewing one bite for an hour. The only good thing I can say about this pub is the blonde lady worker who works here, she was doing everything she could for majority of tables and apologising for mistakes which clearly weren’t made by her. Will never visit here again.
I had the hunters chicken with sweet potato fries and diet coca cola. My 1st option was the chicken ham and cheese pie because someone told me how nice it was. The hunters chicken was really nice and could have had more of it. The pudding i had was milkybar and raspberry sundae was really nice too. My daughters meals must have been really nice as she wolfed them down. She had the toad in hole with corn and chips and lemonade. For pudding she had the make your own sundae. Will be deffinatly returning.
Had a amazing time in the norton pub meadowhead staff brillant service was spot on 10 out 10 and food was brillant 10 out 10 thank you for all your hard work my son enjoyed his 40th birthday meal and familyFood: 5/5
I found the Norton to be good value for money with a varied menu and nice staff who are welcoming. We found it a good family venue in the day time however we haven't been in the evening.Food: 4/5
me,my partner went to the Norton pub for a drink then we decided to have something to eat as we look at the menu my partner had the steak with onions and chips, onion rings,he really injoyed it and I had the scampi and chips with mushpeas,l had two bread, butter,it was very nice and the staff are very helpful and friendly, would recommend it to have a meal, good value for money.
Came for a meal on Mother's Day 10th March with family. Meals arrived quickly and tasted great. Staff were all friendly and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely visit again :-Food: 5/5
