We came last night for a meal and the food was absolutely gorgeous. I had the venison for my main and everything about it was perfect, the quality, size and everything included. Will definitely be coming back again Kid-friendliness: All the staff and locals were kind, warm and welcoming
Friendly and relaxed. Excellent lunch, delicious, varied menu so lots of choice. Refreshing to see Christmas decorations being put up in December and not in September.
Wonderful stay at this little gem! Nathan and his team were so welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble . Food excellent ! Accommodation also very clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend this as a perfect stay ! Thank you !
Had lunch here twice in the last week. Absolutely faultless. Food was amazing as always. Great service and lovely country pub atmosphere. Would highly recommendRooms: 5/5
Located in a typical quaint English village 55 miles from Southampton and the ferry port to the IOW Off the beaten track but well worth a visit as the Inn is welcoming friendly and the staff are genuinely efficient professional and warm. The room was spacious and well furnished with en-suite shower facilities. The evening menu is small but the food available was good and tasty. Breakfast was lovely and set us up for the day. Ample free parking and a beer garden so you can enjoy a beer or three in the sun. Would highly recommend you try this Inn as it’s definitely value for your £
Friendly hosts who have managed to survive the lockdown and still keep their standards. Delicious food....we had squid and salad Great local beer .....ipa made in the village.....and a selection of English wines.... Enormous bed ...they are all king size....and large room ... Great breakfast in the morning... Wilson the dog will welcome you in..... Have been back twice on my own for business trips as it is way better than a chain hotel.... food, beer and Wilson the dog still all good...
Lovely location. Charming location and venue, easy to park. Beautiful roads in/out. Excellent food and warm hospitality.
This place is exceptional. Staff are very friendly without being intrusive. The menu is small but with something for everyone. Food was delicious: well cooked and good ingredients. Portions are generous and the puddings are a must. The pesto linguine was superb and the chocolate brownie a melt in the mouth explosion of cocoa. We were the only ones booked but I guess for twixt Xmas and new year that is not unusual. Will definitely return.
Amazing hidden gem! Perfect country pub with a limited yet delicious menu. We had the burger and definitely one of the best meals we have had in ages! Tasty and worth the drive!
There is nothing not to like about this place. Lovely room - very clean. Good team working in the bar - friendly staff - good selection of beers - food extremely good. Even the regulars at the bar are chatty. If you're in the area I'd definitely recommend.
