Great old fashioned pub. You don't get many and it's so nice to go to an actual pub rather than a bistro. They have football on multiple tv's, I've always had a pleasurable time here
Really warm welcome from the bar staff. As football was on the various TV even the customers made me feel welcome I will certainly come again
We popped in here on NYE afternoon and the ambience was really good... wanted to return for NYE but all booked. Will return again whe we visit Newbury again.
Had a great night in here ,live music ,affordable drinks,it was Halloween weekend and lots of people dressed up,made to feel very welcome, highly recommended

Nice pub, popular but we found a table. The sports were playing loud but that was what most people were there for. The drinks were reasonably priced offering a good selection of ales and bottles and plenty of spirits. We had a diet coke which tasted chemically but when told they were apologetic and quickly replaced it. The staff were helpful.
