Hadn't been here for a while, the new landlord and landlady are doing a fine job at running a traditional country pub. A free plate of lamb and roasties left from lunch service was a nice treat too.
Small, friendly atmosphere, excellent food and good beer. Angie, Phil and Dan run the sort of pub that most folk dream about. One not to be missed.
Last of the traditional local pubs. Always a warm welcome and the beer is well kept.
