I photographed a wedding at Shoreditch Town Hall a couple weeks ago and can't tell you how much I loved the space. The downstairs level is so impressive with the flooring and amount of space available. Going up to the large ceremony room it was full of light and great for any large wedding. The staff were so amazing and did not rush anyone around, this is different to some of the other town halls I've been to. This venue needs to be doing more weddings as it's a hidden gem in the middle of some Shoreditch.
The wide hallway led to the left right stairs going into the hall.. which is antient carved building. On the ground floor male n female toilet.. neat n clean 100/100
I had a chance to visit the hall for the Cocoa Butter Christmas event and I loved it. I was surprised to learn so much more about its history since its inception. The most interesting fact had to be the Jack the Ripper story at the hall.
Lovely venue, comfy seating. Sound and projection setup wasn't great for Sorted Food loud but not clear. But the biggest issue was that it was cold. Even with a t-shirt, Christmas jumper, thick hoodie and overcoat I was cold at times.
Here for an IPA event and it was great, staff really helpful and friendly
We visited for the final night of the Kakilang Festival to see Emmy the great, and it was a really nice venue with no crowding and nice selection of drinks the seating was comfortable and with great views of the stage.
Great space, beautiful building close to central, London fashion week event
Great space! I’ve been here a few times now, for sample sales and to see the live recording of a podcast. The door staff are super friendly, and the space itself is really versatile. Only niggler is the poor mobile phone reception if you attend an event in the basement.
Great place and beautifully maintained. Nicely located in Shoreditch. We enjoyed Hamlet on a Sunday afternoon. Would highly recommend.
Great venue that I've traditionally come for sample sales with cloakroom. Now also used as a theatre space in the basement as far as I'm aware. There's also a bar but it's £10 minimum if paying by card !
