Favourite soul food takeaway in East London.
The best Jerk chicken I've had. I really mean that. Meat is juicy, flavoursome and portions are great. Fit lunch during the week for me and my colleagues.
Great Jamaican food very close to Old Street station. They have a lunch deal that goes from 12pm till 5pm and you can get a good sized meal for just £5.50. I had the grilled fish with plantain and spiced rice and it was delicious! I will definitely come back here soon!
I have eaten here 3 times, prior to committee meetings up the road. For the good price for a eat in meal, it is fine. Though I have had better West Indian food all other restaurants I have had it. Tables are too close together. I've not been here for music but imagine it would have an intimacy due to the small size.
Nice Jerk chicken meal deal type thing here for around £5.50. Food is OK, I prefer the place at the other end of the market myself, used to be called Bellys
Wow. One Saturday night here dancing to jazz fusion and I felt I want to come here every night for the rest of my life. Definitely London’s best kept secret.
A place to see top quality musicians and a chill vibe. Can get really busy so get there early if you want to grab a table. Normally cheap entry and always worth it.
