Booked for a party of 15 three months in advanced for a Sunday. We arrive and 10/15 people ordered Sunday roast which was absolutely shocking. Raw potatoes, hard meat, re heated vegetables and to top it off a hair in the food on one plate. My mum complained and all they did was take her plate and bring her a new bulkier, better looking plate. No one bothered to check how anyone else’s food was and for that reason most of my family were to embarrassed to complain and send 10 dinner plates back!!!!!! The manager was terrible at her job, speaking about my mother to my sister while she was paying and then telling me the she is only taking off 4 plates from the bill because everyone else said their food was fine. I can confirm from MY family this was not the case. This place used to be great, they offered probably the best Sunday Roast in Eastbourne until it changed hands. If you want my opinion the kitchen staff need sacking and the manager needs training on customer service because this review was bound to happen.

Awful place. Used to be good years ago. When I left I felt I had stepped into the light away from the obvious kids on the pool table. Dinner extremely basic: chips pork scratching steak chips. Awful menu. Barmaids looked 15 years old and had no interest in being hospitable so myself and other half played pool whilst they looked on covertly. Used to be a great place 10 years ago. Good for travellers only to put your head down.

Very poor lovely pub no beers or ales on a sunday on bank holidag weekend too have a great big band jazz too

Had our wedding here great staff helpful even changed previous managers bodge ups an was very accommodated and very helpful wonderful day would recommend the venue

Great place for a wedding and the rooms were really nice. Food was really good and staff were excellent
