My girlfriend booked the Suite for my birthday and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. Simon and Sara were excellent hosts and the views and locations were breathtaking. Breakfast was perfect and everything was very relaxing.

Absolutely deserves 5 stars. Beautiful home, the owners make you feel so very welcome. We booked so we could go to the Herstmonceux Medieval Festival and I would 100% recommend staying here if you want to spoil yourself after a long day on your feet. And they do a fantastic breakfast! Sara and Simon were gracious host. We enjoyed our stay there. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the beautiful English country landscape. Breakfast was good. The bed was very comfortable.

From the moment I provisionally booked my stay, Sara had been in contact with with me. Arranging dietary requirements, booking tables for my friend and I in the local pub and organising a late check-in just incase I missed my train. On arrival, I was met by both Sara and Simon the owners of Boreham House. And was shown around the dining area, the snug (communal lounge area) and introduced to the honesty bar before showing me to my room. I was staying in the Ashburnham room, which was a large double room with an ensuite bathroom with a walk in shower. Built-in wardrobes with ample storage space of you had decided that you were staying for a while. A variety of teas and coffees are provided for guests and if you go onto the landing area, you will find a slice of homemade cake or cookies for you to enjoy with your favourite tipple. The bed is very comfortable. Soft, yet firm and you do not get much noise from the passing traffic throughout the night. I came down for breakfast, welcomed to a selection of cereals, yogurts and fruit juices. I was greeted by Sara who then offered me fresh coffee or tea, brown or white toast along with my breakfast order of a vegetarian breakfast. Which was very filling. Simon joined myself and the other guests, asking about our plans for the day and gave us a brief overview of how they came to purchase Boreham House and invited us to to take a tour of the house and the grounds to admire the beautiful view. I stayed for 2 days, but wanted to stay for longer... I shall return again in the future.
